Burnt Sienna was a great match for the home’s brick, light siding, and natural surroundings. Its mix of reddish brown, dark brown, and warm copper tones gives the roof more depth than a flat brown shingle.

Black Drip Edge Creates a Finished Border
We installed black drip edge around the roof. It creates a sharp border where the shingles meet the eaves and rake edges.
Drip edge has a practical role as well. It helps guide water away from the roof decking and fascia as rain moves off the shingles. On this home, the darker finish also works well with the deep shadows in the Burnt Sienna shingles.
